Renata Galindo

Renata Galindo’s home is in Mexico City. She spent a big part of her childhood drawing pictures, fighting with her younger sister, and removing the cherries from every cake she came across.

She moved to the UK in 2012 to study an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.

Her second favourite thing in the world is books (the first one is cake), and she can frequently be found asking to borrow a pencil from friends and strangers alike, since she never remembers to bring one with her.

She now spends her days drawing pictures and making up stories, and she leaves cherries alone (most of the time).
